What I Bring To The Table

Lived Experience.

I grew up poor in a pretty rough neighborhood in Edmonton, Alberta. My Father struggled with substance use due to his own childhood trauma, and as a result

I was raised primarily by my Mother. Due to my childhood I experienced poor mental health, and when we moved to rural Saskatchewan in 2007, those issues took on a life of there own, and there was very little access to mental health services & the barriers were great.

Throughout my life I have faced depression & anxiety, I self harmed, came to terms with having a parent who struggled with their own mental health & co-dependency, was a victim of sexual assault & domestic violence, battled postpartum & Mom guilt, and now use all of it to help better others.

I hold a Bachelors Degree in Social Work, and are currently working towards my Masters.
